Puffed Amaranth homemade GFCFSF cereal
Here's my first video blog, please tell me what you think!! Thanks to my awesome videographer aka my 13 year old!! - gotta put them to work over the summer, right?!?
**Blogger's note - My husband took offense to me referring to the cyclist's cold sore as herpes (even though it IS a herpes virus that causes cold sores along with causing both chicken pox and shingles!!). So, just to clarify, the cyclist suffered from COLD SORES (which are caused by the herpes virus) and my comment in no way referred to any sort of genital herpes!!! Ugh, such a guy!!

Great and informative video! Was wondering how to use Amaranth and wondering what cereal my kiddos could have occassionally now that we are following Body Ecology. Can't wait to get my shipment from Amazon. Thanks!
Love the video blog Terri. I'm definitely going to try out some Amaranth for my kids this week! :)

I love your video Terri! What an economical way to make a healthy cereal. Can't wait to see your next video!
Do u grind your flax seed or leave it whole? Also, is it hard it eat the pumpkin seeds in a cereal? Found this while looking for the difference between puffed and popped amaranth. Some say there is a difference some say it's the same thing. Is there a good resource on this?
I use flax both ways, just depends on what I have on hand! My kids (and I) don't have a problem at all eating the raw pumpkin seeds in the cereal. From what I can see, puffed is the same as popped?? But I would love to know if there was another method to "pop" this grain!
