I am kind of bombarding my blog with stuff that I took the last 2 years to learn. I hope no one is getting too overwhelmed. I went through the process of anger, disillusionment and then dispair as I did this research. I was very angry at our government, the "regulatory" process that governs our food supply and food manufacturers. But, I realized that it will not change until WE change it, through legislation and simply NOT buying the junk anymore. So, as I share all this stuff, I realized that you may be getting a crash course. I started to get overwhelmed and decided I could ONLY focus on certain things right now. I chose dairy first. Then we focused on hydrogenated oils, then MSG, we never really used artificial sweeteners or that would have been next. Then we focused on cleaning products, personal care products and food storage. I know, it is ALOT. Once you realize just what we come in contact with and especially for children with developing nervous and immune systems. So, I want you all to know, I am never trying to be condescending, egotistical or come across as a know-it-all. I do regularly use sarcasm, it is as natural as breathing to me :) So if you have stumbled upon my blog and do not know me, please do not confuse my warped sense of humor for anything other than that. So if I am bombarding you too fast, speak up. Otherwise I will keep posting.

I dig it. All of it! The tips and sarcasm are a great combo!

I'm getting caught up on your blog and I love it! This stuff I was reading about and trying to incorporate into my life 20 years ago and people ragged the crap out of me. I'm so glad to see that we are finally wising up. I only wish it didn't come at such a price to you and Matthew! Love ya, Aunt Sally
